Closed Side Setting (CSS) Adjustment
The use of wedges to adjust Closed Side Setting (CSS) allows convenient operation and faster adjustment for the operator.
Adjustments to the CSS can be made without requiring the crusher to be stopped for long periods. Hydraulic wedge systems allow for faster adjustments compared to older shim methods.

Segmented Jaw Plates
For larger models only, the JC Jaw Crusher comes with segmented jaw plates.
- Reduced weight of a single jaw plate

- Middle mounting wedge bolt can be lifted out without disassembly of the jaw plate
- Both fixed and swing jaw plates can be rotated multiple times. Single piece jaw plates can only be rotated once

Hydraulic CSS Wedge Adjustment
The standard configuration for the Trimax JC Jaw Crusher comes with a manual CSS Wedge Adjustment. The optional upgrade configuration allows for hydraulic CSS Wedge Adjustment.
Optional Segmented Crusher Main Body
Upon request, a segmented crusher main body instead of a welded main body may be supplied for an additional cost. The segmented crusher main body option will come with Corner Support Dampers instead of standard crusher mounting bolts.
Monitoring Sensors
Temperature Monitoring
Optional temperature sensors for bearings can be supplied with your Trimax JC Jaw Crusher, enabling real-time monitoring of the bearings.
Auto-Greasing
Better Protection of Bearings
Optional auto-greasing of the Trimax Trent Jaw Crusher’s bearings is now possible with the supply of a lubrication pump system.
Frequent and small measured quantities of greasing gives the bearings better protection as opposed to the common practice of pumping grease only once a day.
